Recently, I visited the MyG showroom in Payyannur to purchase a refrigerator, but the experience was disappointing right from the start. The parking space in front of the showroom was small and almost full, so I parked my vehicle behind another car within the designated area. There was no security staff present to guide, so I asked the showroom staff near the entrance if it was okay to park there. Unfortunately, they didn’t bother to step out or assist. Assuming it was fine, I parked with the intention of moving my car if needed. Just as we were about to enter, a security person suddenly appeared and questioned the parking, even though the vehicle was properly parked within the permissible area and not on the road. What was more disappointing was that none of the staff showed any interest in helping or even acknowledging the situation. It felt unwelcoming and frustrating. Even a simple smile or basic courtesy at the entrance would have made a big difference. Because of this experience, I decided not to proceed and left without entering the showroom. While looking for alternatives, I came across Nikshan Electronics, Cheruvathur, and the experience there was completely different. The security staff immediately guided us with parking, and we were welcomed warmly by the team. The staff were polite, attentive, and made the whole process smooth. I ended up purchasing the refrigerator from them. I hope MyG management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the overall customer experience, especially the first impression customers get when they arrive.
